Bread Machine Pumpkin Bread
It is officially FALL, and nothing tastes better when the cool weather rolls in than warm pumpkin bread and coffee for breakfast or dessert.
Pumpkin Bread is an ANYTIME food as far as Grams is concerned.
Follow this easy bread maker recipe to begin the fall festivities!
You will need:
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablepoons of water
- 1/2 cup cooked and mashed pumpkin
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1/4 cup instant dry milk powder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger
- 2 and 3/4 cups of bread flour
- 1/4 ounce active dry yeast
In bread machine pan, place all the ingredients in order.
Select basic bread setting and choose crust color and loaf size (if available).
Bake according to bread machine instructions, checking after the first five minutes of mixing; add 1-2 tablespoons of water if needed.
Makes one 1 and 1/2 pound loaf.
